Our Mission

The AISS experience begins during fall 2007, with classes being offered to students in pre-school, kindergarten and first grade. Once construction is completed in spring 2007, classrooms will be available to allow the continuance of learning for our initial group of students through grade three. Additional construction will begin during calendar year 2007, to allow additional grades to be added, taking the initial group of students through high school.

During this initial period of learning, emphasis is placed on an interactive learning process. Basic skills and problem-solving abilities are developed to build a firm foundation for future academic progress.

Acceptance to the American International School System is based upon date of application and previous teacher recommendations. Student recommendations from previously attended preschools are recommended. Executive management and the admissions committee seek to determine the suitability and appropriateness of our program and the school's ability to meet the needs of the child and his or her family.

Acceptance notifications will be completed in a timely fashion, prior to the Academic year. Late applications will be reviewed on a rolling admissions basis and admission is offered to qualified candidates, as space remains available.
